Do I need to provide historical data for the software to work?

It is not mandatory, but providing historical data can be very useful if your company has kept a record. This way, the AI element will learn more quickly, thus boosting the software’s performance. Still, even if historical data are not provided, Ontruck’s modules will start collecting data straight away and feed them to the algorithms to increase precision and fuel data-driven decision making.

Will I be able to access the data generated by the AI-powered software modules?

Yes, all modules have a data layer Ontruck makes available to the customer in different ways:

Through a connection via API, in order to pass on all event data in each module, so that the customer can process them with their tools.
Through a submodule that processes data and transforms it into KPIs, as well as providing a customised graphical representation for each use case.

Does Ontruck provide training for software users?

Yes, software users are at the centre of things right from the initial stages of the project. The Ontruck team will be there for them at all times: before, during and after the implementation process. Customers will have access to ongoing support to clear up any queries or solve incidents.

On top of that, Ontruck modules are based on a standardised model that can be customised down to the last detail. This way, the software can adapt to the company’s dynamics and types of operations. What type of transport operations is this technology designed for? How do I know if it is suitable for my logistics flows?

Ontruck’s software is the product of our years of operational experience with road freight of all kinds, in terms of both distance (last mile, regional, national, international, etc.) and type of load (pallets, parcels or packages, full or partial load).

Do I need an existing system to be able to use Ontruck technology?

Our AI-powered modules can connect to the most commonly used systems in the sector (whether TMS, ERP or CRM) to improve their performance and features. In other words, they do not replace existing software; they boost its potential. That being said, there is the option of developing a complete solution that offers the same features as a TMS, for example. When defining your project, we will analyse your needs, so that the solution we design suits your company’s operational and business goals.

What level of security do you offer? Will my transport data be shared with third parties?

When designing any aspect of our technology, our top priority is always security. Our platform was built using multi-tenant architecture, which guarantees an exceptional level of data isolation between customers, thus safeguarding data confidentiality and privacy. With this approach, each customer is in total control, as their data are inaccessible for other users of our platform.

In our development and QA process, we only use fully anonymised data. Thanks to this internal practice, we know that there is no risk of any customer’s specific data being accessed. This way, we can maintain total transparency in our data management, and the integrity and protection of our customers’ data are guaranteed.

Will it be difficult to connect your technology to our TMS?

At Ontruck, we have heaps of experience in integrating our modules with various TMS, ERP and CRM systems. To do so, we have developed a secure, easy-to-connect API. It is built according to the REST standard, taking data transmission performance into account in every ‘call’ between systems.

We have experience in connecting to some of the most commonly used TMS in the sector, including BeOne, Shippeo, Transporeon and Blume, as well as external applications like valenciaportPCS and customised software.

Is the software architecture compatible with businesses other than Ontruck?

Yes, our technology uses multi-tenant architecture and the SaaS model (Software as a Service), so businesses that work with our modules do not need to worry about hardware maintenance or data security. Ontruck takes care of all of this, as well as making backups and ensuring that the software is working properly at all times, so that the service is always available. The SaaS format works using cloud storage, and the customer pays a monthly subscription.
